Roxy a.k.a Rach B hails from Leicester UK. Whether singing or rapping she always delivers an edgy performance. While this may be her debut as “Roxy”, she has experience in the funk world having performed live, been featured on previous collaborations and vinyl releases and adding her vocal talents to radio show theme drops. *Music has always been my passion, writing and creating songs since as far as I can remember. My first musical memory was when I was a child and I was watching Michael Jackson on TV. I was mesmerised by the king. The funky music and his magical moves and the feeling in his voice made me believe that anything was possible. MAGIC.
The passion of my natural connection to music and influences by the greats drove me to believe in my dreams and I continued writing songs and studying the art by watching music videos, listening to every instrument on a record and melodies from the universe continued in enter my mind.
My influences, goals visions and dreams lead to meet and collaborate with other artists with the same vision. I was lead to a world of modern funk and DJ`s that were keeping funk music alive.
Through this adventure I was blessed to come into contact with two talented producers from California. Roller8 and Throwbakk Musikk. Our passion and determination to put out good music for people to dance to resulted in a collaboration. With hardwork and perseverance we finally have it! The record is ready and available to buy on RollerSoul Records.

Roller8 has been active in the music business since the late 90s, producing funk, disco and house music and remixes for several underground music artists as well as solo projects. Member of the Uptown Boogie DJ crew, they have performed at nightclubs and concert venues throughout California including opening for 2 Orange County Funk Fest concerts, several Beat Swap Meets, The Great Rock n Roll Flea Market events and the list goes on.
Throwbakk already has an impressive list of unreleased collaborations, some with well known artists, that are only now starting to surface with this debut release and many more to come. His no-nonsense approach to production and keen ear for what makes a great groove guarantees his beats always have all funk and no junk.
